Earthquake hit Delhi and NCR region
I must say the tremors were good enough to make you awake, even if you were in sound sleep.
Welcome to New Delhi, where we felt strong tremors in wee hours. It was around 4.40 exactly half an hour ago. As usual, I was sleeping and i heard some good vibration sound. The moment i realised its an earth quake, i was out in street in my lowers and sandoz, where i joined some good hundreds of people later on.
Well one thing is good… it acts as an alarm for many people to make them straight awake on the first day of the weekend.. Well till this moment, no bad news had came… and exact intensity is gonna be out in news after some time..
The intensity of the quake was low - 4.3 Richter/magnitude.
However the epicenter was very close to New Delhi.. it was 15 km away from Capital.. That was the only reason that the people had felt some strong and good tremors.
